Hi Hello and How do you do?

Oh, hello June! The sun is shining, I hear birds outside my window (before the sirens begin) and I see delicious looking cherries in the market. When it stays light so late I have a hard time settling down at a normal time. Thank goodness for the internet to keep me entertained.

For instance:

If politics was as positive and hilarious as Kid President, I would be more into it.

I feel just TERRIBLE, I realized it has been four whole months since I last shared a cute animal video. Sharing is caring!

Thank you Friskies for making these videos with Grumpy Cat

Summer Reading List 2013

Summer, summer, summer time is running through my head and I am starting to see Summer Reading lists in all my favorite pop culture guides so it’s time for my summer reading recommendations.  I read all year so I can tell you what to pack your suitcase/kindles with!

Summer Lovin, had me a blast: Young Adult love stories guaranteed to tug your heartstrings and make you smile.
Read if: You wish Judy Blume published more books.
Anna and the French Kiss-Stephanie Perkins
Dash & Lily's Book of Dares-Rachael Cohn & David Levithan

Dark and Dangerous: Psychological thrillers that will be nearly impossible to put down.
Read if: You have been desperately searching for your next Gone Girl.
The Informationist-Vanessa Michael Monroe
Reconstructing Amelia-Kimberly McCreight

Quirky Comedy: I recently discovered there is a whole category of fiction called comedy and have been really enjoying the giggles I get from these absurd characters and stories.
Read if: You like your humor a little off.
The Revenge of the Radioactive Lady- Elizabeth Stuckey-French
Something Missing-Matthew Dicks

Thoughts from Interesting People: Memoirs
Read if: You are always looking for a new perspective
How to be a Woman-Caitlin Moran

Supernatural Adventure: Witches, Werewolves and other supernatural beings are all the rage and these great stories are the reason why.
Read If: You like your literature with a little something extra
Witch’s Daughter-Paula Brackston
The Last Werewolf-Glen Duncan

Check out the books everyone else will be reading this summer with these lists from NPR and the  LA Times.
