When I sold my car, the
thing I missed the most was my easy access to NPR during my commute. I was
excited to realize that most NPR shows can be downloaded or streamed on your
phone or ipod to listen to at your leisure. Actual radio shows are just the
edge of the podcast iceberg. If you have an interest, chances are good there is
a podcast about it and if like me, you have a lot of interests then there is
podcast for each one. Now I often find new movie, book, tv and other obsessions
through the podcasts I listen to. Here are my favorites:

Doug Loves Movies (Game show/talk): Comedian Doug Benson has
celebrity guests on to talk about movies, play movie trivia games and generally
entertain you.

The Champs (Interviews): White comedians Neal Brennan (Co-Creator
of the Chapelle show) and Moshe Kasher take their interest in black culture to
a wider audience by interviewing only non-white guests. The conversations roam
all over the place from race to dating to the most random stories about the
guests. Sometimes a little filthy, this podcast always makes me laugh out loud.
